Ephesians 6:10-18 is the context for us for spiritual warfare. As I was meditating on verse 18, the Holy Spirit highlighted, ‘supplication in the Spirit’ and then ‘being watchful.’ It says, “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”

We are called to be watchmen on the wall. Habakkuk was a watchman. Habakkuk 2:1 says, “I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected.”

The posture of a watchman is to be alert, attentive, and ready for action. As prayer warriors, it is good to keep a journal. In verse two the Lord told Habakkuk to, “…write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”
