A weak human hair can be hidden in the links of the chain which becomes its strength. Colossians 3:3 says, “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” What does the hidden life look like?
We take on the nature of what we are hidden in. As Jesus is the exact image of the invisible God, so we are created to reflect His character to those around us. Hebrews 1:3 says, “And being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person…”
Isaiah 49:16 says, “See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.” We are imprinted in His nail scarred hands.” Even when we hide behind our emotional walls of self-protection, we are visible to the Lord.
Psalm 139:7 says, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your Presence?” The answer is nowhere. Our hearts are open and exposed before Him. Verse 4 says, “For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.”
