Jude 24 says, “…keep you from stumbling…” What does it mean? James 3:2 says that we stumble in many ways. The Holy Spirit led me to compare Scripture with Scripture.
Jesus told Peter that satan wanted to sift him as wheat. I love Jesus’ words. Luke 22:32 says, “But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
1 Peter 5:10 was written from that experience. It says, “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.”
John 6:39 says, “This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.” Jesus’ prayer just before His crucifixion. John 17:12 says, “…Those whom You gave Me I have kept…” Verse 20 says, “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word.”
