Jesus Christ Is Risen!

Jesus purposely delayed when He received the word that Lazarus was sick. Then Lazarus died and was buried. Jesus went to Bethany. Martha went out to meet Him, and stated that if He had come, her brother would not have died.

John 11:25 were Jesus’ words to her. It says, “…I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” He let those words sink in. Verse 26 says, “And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

We know from 2 Peter 1:3 that He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. They come through our knowledge of the Lord. We gain understanding of who He is through his written word.

His promises are true. He is Faithful and Trustworthy to fulfill them. As we trust and obey, He reveals Himself to us in ways we have not known Him before. John 14:21 gives us His criteria for that revelation. It says, “He who has My commandments and keeps them…” Keep: make daily personal applications.
