Psalm 119:1-2 says, “Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart.” 

It is a sobering truth in the book of Numbers. Moses sinned against the Lord, when he disobeyed God’s command. He was told to speak to the rock, but in his anger he struck it. 

God’s charge against him. Numbers 20:12 says, “…Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

When you and I disobey the Lord, He takes us to His woodshed and chastens us. Hebrews 12:10 says that His motive is, “…that we may be partakers of His holiness.” 2 Peter 1:4 says, “By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature…”

The Lord conforms us to His image by molding, shaping, and transforming us to His will and ways.
