Walking In Obedience~Part One

The Lord reveals Himself to us as we walk in obedience to His word. John 14:21 says, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, It is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

Manifest in the Greek means to cause to shine, appear, come to view, make visible, present oneself in the sight of another, be conspicuous. I love that the Lord reveals Himself to us in ways we have never known Him through our intimate communion with Him.

We see Him through His marvelous creations. Romans 1:20 says, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead…”

We also see Him through His word. Psalm 8:1 says, “O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth, who have set Your glory above the heavens!” Verse 3 says, “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers…” What do you see?
