Jesus cursed the fig tree. Mark 11:21-22 says, “…Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away. So Jesus answered and said to them, Have faith in God.” We will get off track when our faith is in someone or some circumstance.

Proverbs 25:19 says, “Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a bad tooth and a foot out of joint.” I remember when I broke my right foot in 2013, I could not walk on it. There was no support.

Our circumstances change moment by moment. There is only One who is in control of our circumstances, and He never changes. Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Colossians 1:17 says, “And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.”

Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 25:4 says, “Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths.” Psalm 23:3 says, “…He leads me in the paths of righteousness…” Look to Him.
