High Price Of Our Forgiveness~Part One

1 John 2:2 says, “And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” 4:10 says, “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

Propitiation describes Jesus’ sacrificial death, as appeasing God’s wrath on our sin. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Jesus died in our place. Isaiah 53:10 says, “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin…”

Verse 11 says, “He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many.” Romans 3:24 says, “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”

Ephesians 1:7 says, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”
