Quality Of Life~Part One

It always makes me sad when I come to the end of Deuteronomy. The Lord allowed Moses to see the promised land, but he was forbidden to enter it. Even though the Lord told him how corrupt His people would become, Moses gave them a final blessing.

He ended chapter 33 by reminding them Who the Lord is to them. Verse 27 says, “The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, and will say, Destroy!”

Deuteronomy 34:5-6 says that Moses, “…died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. And He buried him…” Take note of verse 7. It says, “Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.”

This was my dad’s testimony. Psalm 92:14-15 says, “They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing, to declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” Are you bearing fruit?
