Psalm 18:2 says, “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Psalm 91:1 says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

How do we dwell? We ‘dwell’ in Him through our relationship with the Lord ~ communing with Him in our heart, and through our words. We live a life hidden in Him through relationship. Everything in our walk is related to our intimate communion with Him.

John 15:5. When living independent of Him, the verse says, “…you can do nothing.” That means it is all futile activity, that is all borne through our flesh which continually opposes the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives. All ~ everything without exception! C. T. Studd said, “Only one life, ’twill soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last.”
