Hebrews 10:36 says that we have need of endurance. Verse 38 says, “Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” We cannot move forward, and at the same time draw back.
Jesus is our Example. Hebrews 12:2 says, “…who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” What is He doing? He is interceding for us.
Romans 8:34 is a great verse to commit to memory. It is a deep abiding truth for us to hold onto. It says, “Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”
1 Peter 1:8-9 says, “Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.”
